Louis Vuitton attends Colm Dillane Fall/Winter 2023 at Paris Fashion Week

With just a week to go before the Fall/Winter fashion season hits the Paris runways, Louis Vuitton (LV) has tapped Brooklyn-based KidSuper founder Colm Dillane to collaborate on its menswear designs.

In the post-Virgil Abloh era, the luxury fashion house is eyeing a relaunch of the runway collaboration. The announcement was made on January 10, 2023, and comes after Louis Vuitton collaborated with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama on an avant-garde collection featuring eclectic motifs and hand-printed polka dots on classic LV designs.

It’s important to note that while Louis Vuitton is bringing in Dillan as the first guest designer to create silhouettes for the men’s section, he’s not taking the reins as creative director.

Who is Colm Dillane?
