As the first televised awards show of 2023, expectations were high for Tuesday’s Golden Globes — not just who would take home the trophies and how the broadcast would fare after last year’s absence, but also what role red carpet style might play. , especially when rain was predicted to spoil the festivities at the Beverly Hilton. Verdict? Skies have remained clear and Globes fashion is back with a splash.
Hollywood ladies embraced both color and metallics in gowns embellished with romantic beading and ruffles, while industry leading men wore beautifully tailored tuxedos adorned with unique details. Among the night’s trends: gowns in pink, a sign that Barbiecore continues to dominate, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, rich gowns in dramatic black.
